TRE
 Forteen strings, one voice

The Swedish folk music trio TRE plays their own compositions on guitar, voice and violin. 

Their music focuses on closeness and interplay; to their tradition, with the audience and with each other on stage. Through rough waltzes and fragile polskas a red thread of innovative arrangements, joy and playfulness runns. The trio has been active since 2016 and together they have evolved from curious folk music students to newly hatched professional folk musicians. 

In 2019 they released their first EP and during the fall 2021 they recorded and prepared their first full length album to be released in the summer of 2022.


TRE playes on both small and big stages, for dancing and sitting audiences. They also offer workshops ranging from tune learning, sining, interplay, arrangement and other simlar activities.

On July 26 our first full lenght album TAKT will be released. 

In this album, we've included the tunes and arrangement that we find the strongest connection to. It is music that has been traveling with us for several years, and has grown together with us. We hope that our honest engagement, interplay and joy of playing together will be heard in each of the albums recordings.

The album will be purchasable physically directly through us or digitally through Bandcamp. The music will also be avalable on most digital streaming platforms, such as Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, YouTube Music and many more.
